School Director: Ms. Chelsea

As of April 1st, 2024, Ms. Chelsea will be taking over as School Director of Knock Knock Preschool and Knock Knock English.  Ms. Moe will be managing KKP-Seijo and Ms. Shizuka at KKP-Chitose as Chief Nursery Staff. Ms. Miki will be the Chief of KKE with the help of Ms. Gaby as a Lead. Mr. Juji will help the Foreign Teachers as the Operations Lead.

Hello, I’m Ms. Chelsea!

Hello Everyone, you may have seen me around before! I have been teaching at Knock Knock for 3 years now. I know it is a sudden change to have a new School Director so let me share some things about myself! I was born and raised in Hawaii on the island of Oahu and graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. I have a degree in Second Language Studies which has taught me the various differences and ways to teach a second language. I have been teaching since 2016, and have been teaching in Japan since 2018.

My goal as School Director is to make a safe place for students and teachers to grow, learn, and have fun. If there is anything I have learned since becoming a teacher, it’s that everyone learns better when they are having fun. It is a bit sad that I won’t be teaching as many classes as I did before but I hope to still get around to seeing everyone in their classes!

I love talking about education and child psychology. It is amazing how better methods of education are always developing each year. I hope to provide teachers with on growing education so that they can be the very best teachers for your students.

e supported by a great team! Ms. Moe and Ms. Shizuka will help me manage the preschools to make sure we are teaching your children in the safest environment. Ms. Kaori will be managing and taking care of the IAS program. Ms. Miki will be helping to manage the KKE program so that we can make it effective and engaging for all students. Ms. Gaby will be helping me to make sure that KKE is progressing and being taken care of as well as making sure After Kinder has fun and engaging activities to do every week. Mr. Juji will be helping me make sure that Teachers are prepared and the schools are working together harmoniously. Every one of our staff is working hard every day to make classes great and I wouldn’t be able to do anything without their support.

みなさん、こんにちは！ 私はノックノックプリスクールで3年間勤務しており、この度、新しいスクール・ディレクターに就任することになりました。 ハワイのオアフ島出身で、ハワイ大学マノア校を卒業しています。第二言語教育学の学位を取得し、第二言語を教える際の多様なアプローチや方法論を学びました。2016年に教職に就き、2018年からは日本で教鞭をとっています。 スクール・ディレクターとしての私の使命は、生徒と教師が共に成長し、学び、そして楽しむことができる安全で温かい環境を提供することです。教師としての経験から学んだのは、楽しみながら学ぶことが、より効果的な学習につながるということです。今後は以前のように多くのクラスを担当することは難しくなりますが、各クラスに顔を出し、皆さんとのつながりを大切にしたいと思っています。 また、教育や児童心理学について語ることが私の情熱です。年々進化する教育手法には常に驚かされます。私は、講師一人ひとりが園児や生徒にとって最適な指導者となれるよう、継続的な成長を支援する教育を提供したいと考えています。本年も、私は素晴らしいチームに支えられております！Ms. MoeとMs. Shizukaが、最も安全な環境で子どもたちを指導できるよう、プリスクールの運営をサポートしてくれています。Ms. KaoriはIASプログラムの管理・運営を担当し、Ms. MikiはKKEプログラムが効果的であり、すべての生徒にとって魅力的なものとなるよう支援しています。Ms. GabbyはKKEの円滑な進行と、アフター・キンダーが毎週楽しく魅力的な活動となるよう、私を支えてくれます。Mr. Jujiは、講師陣の準備と各校との協力体制が調和していることを確認し、私の強力なサポーターとなってくれます。スタッフ一人ひとりが、素晴らしいクラスを創り上げるために日々尽力しています。彼らの支援があってこそ、私たちは成り立っています。今後とも、ノックノックプリスクールは全力を尽くしてお子様をお預かりし、安心安全な環境で、子どもたちが自主的に学び取り組むことができるよう、私を含めスタッフ一同が努めて参ります。
